LESSON POLICY &
RECOMMENDATION 2009
GUITAR - PIANO - BAND
Thank you for choosing Patton Music
to learn to play an instrument. We
believe music education is important.
Playing an instrument is a lifelong skill
that will bring years of enjoyment and
satisfaction.
Lessons are once-a-week for a half-
hour with our instructor. Students are
responsible for practicing any material
given to them by the instructor.
Lessons are $69 per month, $17.25
per lesson.
If possible, please plan to pay for the
entire month at the first lesson. On
months where five lessons occur, you
will not be billed for the extra lesson.
Our lessons can be one-on-one or in a
small group. If more than one member
of the same family takes lessons, we
offer a 10% discount on the second
and subsequent family member.
We try to maintain continuity of lessons
- please contact us if you are unable to
make your lesson time. Student “no-
shows” and repeated make-ups are
very difficult to work around. Our
teachers are committed to providing
fun, high-quality music instruction, so
please make sure you are at your
lesson on time and with proper
materials!
We realize that people are very busy. If
you give us enough notice (preferably
three days) we will make every effort to
get you a make-up lesson.

INSTRUMENT REPAIR POLICY 2009
Thank you for choosing Patton Music
to help keep your instrument in good
condition. The following guidelines will
ensure that you have your repairs
done quickly and professionally at a
fair price. Our instrument repair
technician is certified by the National
Association of Professional Band
Instrument Repair Technicians and
has over 20 years experience.
1. We will call you with an estimate of
repair cost and explain the
individual parts that need repaired. At
times you may have an option to have
a minimum fixed to get an instrument
playable and may be able to put off
other repairs. We will give you an
estimate for both options.
2. If we leave a message about your
estimate, you must respond within
three (3) days as to whether or not you
want us to proceed with the repair.
Should you decline to have your
instrument repaired at that time, you
must pick it up within seven (7) days.
3. If you authorize us to proceed with
the repair, we will make every effort
to have it done quickly. We will contact
you when it is complete. You must pick
up the instrument within seven (7)
days after we call unless other
arrangements are made.
4. Any instrument left over thirty (30)
days will become property of Patton
Music to dispose of as needed.
