Patton Music Consignment Policy
Effective 08/15/09
Thank you for choosing Patton Music to consign your instrument. We are committed to providing quality instruments for all musicians. We will make every effort to consign your instrument and earn you the current market value of your instrument. Patton Music has its own NAPBIRT-certified technician to assist you in any necessary repairs.
- Patton Music will analyze your instrument and determine current retail value. From this amount, we will mark the price down 65%. This will be our store selling price.
- Customers are responsible for funding any repair necessary to bring the instrument back to “Like-New” playing condition.
- When the sale is completed, Patton Music will retain 35% of the sale. The customer will earn 65% of the sale (minus the cost of repair, if applicable).
- In order to maintain a reputation for selling high-quality instruments, we have the right to refuse any consignment instruments based on quality or condition.
- All Instruments must be cleaned and regulated to good playing level before we will accept them for consignment
- These Consignment Guidelines apply only if, after repairs, the instrument can be brought back to “Like-New” condition.
